Meet Ms. SmithMs. Smith is a level 3 educator who has been with us since January 2018. Ms. Smith is a passionate educator who enjoys giving back to the community. She regularly volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Girl Guides of Canada. She has creative spirit and loves to play. She can often be found on the floor fully engaged with her students. She is always implementing exciting new activities with her class. Ms. Smith loves networking with other educators in the childcare community. She loves attending workshops, events and any opportunity to further her professional development.
Meet Ms. CampbellAngela is our Program Director. She joined the 2000 Days team in September of 2017. Ms. Campbell is a Level 3 educator with a bachelor’s degree in early Learning and Childcare. Angela loves to sing, dance and play! When she is not busy assisting staff and welcoming new families, she can often be found belting out a tune or dancing it out in the classrooms.
Meet Ms. BasabicaMs. Basabica is a level 2 educator who has been working with 2000 Days since August 2021. Arissa grew up in a big family, taking care of her younger brothers sparked her passion for early childhood development. She is an adventure lover, who rarely turns down a challenge. Ms. Basabica’s positive attitude is just one of the many wonderful qualities that she brings to the classroom, she builds strong, positive relationships with all the children in her care.
Meet Ms. BocskorasBoroka is a level 2 educator, and our infant team lead. She grew up in Hungary and took her first job as a nanny when she moved to Canada. Since starting at 2000 Days in March 2021, Boroka has consistently demonstrated her flexibility and growth as an educator. Her warmth and compassionate nature make her the perfect fit for the role. She is often called “the baby whisperer” amongst her colleagues. With a huge heart, Boroka can often be found chanting rhymes and finger plays with the children in her care.
Meet Mr. KepkaDaniel is the other owner of 2000 days. He is often hidden behind the scenes, taking care of maintenance, technology and all the general upkeep within the center. Daniel is a licensed real estate agent. He was born in Poland, he enjoys traveling; his goal is to see 90% of the world one day. Daniel is very handy and often comes in on his weekends to take care of any wear and tear within the center. If Marlene is the heart of 2000 days, then Daniel is brains; he drives the business, while creating a clean and professional facility.
Meet Ms. YuEunsu is originally from Korea, she speaks Korean, Japanese and English. She spent some time living in Dubai, but her dream was to come to Canada. Ms. Yu started with us in November of 2020 and she is a Level 3 educator. Eunsu is a positive and fun-loving individual, her positivity is contagious. She is consistently found helping in the center wherever she can. With plenty of experience working in Kindergarten in Korea, Ms. Yu loves teaching little minds.
Meet Chef JayJay has been with us since March of 2018, he is the creator of the delicious meals that we enjoy everyday. His passion for cooking originates from P.E.I, where he lived and studied culinary arts. Jay is a music lover; he can often be found dancing in the kitchen while prepping some yummy snacks.
Meet Ms. MartinJoanne is a level 2 educator; she has been working with us since July of 2021. Ms. Martin came to 2000 Days with plenty of experience working in the childcare field. She loves spending time with her grandson and can often be heard telling stories of all the things they do together. During her free time, Joanne volunteers at the Calgary Zoo, she is a lover of all things Gorilla related. Ms. Martin is a continuous learner, she is always taking new courses and implementing new things that she has learned into her professional practice.
Meet Ms. TupinoMs. Tupino is a level 3 educator and has been a part of 2000 days since September 2017. Ms. Tupino speaks Filipino along with English. With her warm and playful sense of humour, it is no wonder that she is a favorite among her students. Ms. Tupino is a warm and nurturing caregiver who loves to sing and dance. Ms. Tupino is an active member within her community assisting in church and catering events.
Meet Ms. GoffardKaila is a level 1 educator, who is currently working towards her Level 2. We met Ms. Goffard back in 2018 when she did her first practicum in our toddler room. After acquiring her Masters in Makeup Artistry and trying her talents in other careers, Kaila chose to return to the work she found most rewarding here at 2000 Days. She has been working in our center since July of 2022. Kaila is passionate educator with a go-getter attitude. She can often be found offering new ideas amongst her team.
Meet Ms. MacDonaldLaura is a Level 2 educator; she has been with 2000 Days since March of 2021. Ms. Macdonald is originally from Nova Scotia. She is an avid reader, she loves being outdoors, especially when accompanied by her puppy dog Ryder. Laura goes above and beyond for the little people in her classroom. She is passionate about her work, and her students absolutely adore her. She can often be found gathering attention with the help of her magic wand and creating stories that attract the focus of all of her students.
Meet Ms. FernandesLindi is a Level 2 educator and our Head Teacher, who joined the 2000 Days Family in October 2021. Lindi has been a vital member of the 2000 Days team, with over 10 years of experience under her belt. She is a proud mother of 2, stepmother of 3 and a grandmother of 2. She is an avid Disney fan; Mickey Mouse is her absolute favorite. Ms. Fernandes enjoys bringing new concept and ideas into the center, she can often be found sharing tools and techniques with her colleagues.
Meet Ms. PaezMaria is a Level 2 ECE . She started at 2000 Days in May 2022.
Originally from Columbia, Ms. Paez has also lived in Puerto Vallarta and speaks Spanish fluently. Maria started her work with children whilst working with children with autism. She developed a passion for working with people. She enjoys building new relationships and trying new things. Maria is a go getter and can often be found taking on projects that require organization and reassessment. She puts 110% into everything she does and takes pride in a job well done.

Meet Ms. KepkaMarlene was inspired to open 2000 days after searching for the perfect early years program for her son Owen. She wanted to create a high-quality program with a research-based curriculum; a place where she would feel confident sending her children. Marlene grew up in Manitoba; she has been in the childcare field for 15 years. She is a very charismatic individual who enjoys meeting new people; She loves welcoming new families into the center. She can often be found buzzing around from classroom to classroom engaging with staff and children. Marlene has twin daughters and a son, who keep her on her toes. She is also a licensed real estate agent.
Meet Ms. YunMs. Yun has been apart of the team since February, 2021, she holds her Level 3 ECE Certification. Originally from South Korea, Ms. Yun loves traveling, hiking, and exploring. Mina is extremely dedicated to her work with children. She is always rising to the challenge of each new day, and no two are the same when you work with children. She enjoys positively guiding her students to become independent individuals , and is constantly using open ended concepts to promote their curiosity.
Meet Ms. MinaMs. Mina is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 7, so it is no wonder Ms. Mina has the energy to keep up with her students. Ofelia started at 2000 Days in July of 2022. She is a dedicated Level 2 educator who puts a ton of love and care into everything she does. Ofelia LOVES music, she can often be found humming a tune or dancing it out with her class. She has been working in the field for over 9 years and she still finds enjoyment out of every day. Her energy is contagious.
Meet Ms. ThompsonMs. Thompson is a level 1 educator and has been a part of the 2000 Days family since September 1st of 2020. Joining our team in the midst of the covid pandemic, Savannah has demonstrated her ability to adapt to various challenges She very creative and can often be found working on big art projects in her classrooms. She loves bringing fun new ideas into the class that are creative, fun, and educational. Savannah is passionate about setting her little people up for success in the early years. She is motivated by the fact that she can impact a young person’s life in a positive way.
Meet Ms. CasmaliMs. Casmali is a level 3 educator who has been with us since August 2018. Ms. Casmali speaks Bahasa as well as English. Ms. Casmali is passionate about her work with children, she has a genuine interest in all areas of childhood development. Ms. Casmali can often be found teaching through play within the classroom. She is always providing fun new challenges to assist in her students growth. She is a lover of all things food and loves creating fun new recipes in the kitchen. Before starting her journey as an educator, Ms. Casmali worked in catering. Ms. Casmali frequently attends workshops and conferences to further her development as a professional.
Meet Ms. McCallaMs. McCalla started with us in January of 2021. She is a Level 3 educator. Growing up, Thelma was surrounded by a big family. She has spent many years working with children and is passionate about the childcare field. Thelma prides herself in being honest and kind. She believes that children teach us just as much as we teach them! Ms. McCalla is constantly inspired by her students; she can often be found implementing meticulously planned activities, singing songs and lending a helping hand wherever she can.
Meet Ms. SatoYuriko is a level 3 educator who started with us in April of 2021. Originally from Japan, Ms. Sato has worked in kindergarten, daycare and 2 international schools during her time there. She always dreamed of living in Canada and managed to make her dream a reality. She loves planning out activities for her students that support their developmental growth. Yuriko can often be found bringing in playful, out of the box sensory activities. During her free time, she loves hiking and exploring this beautiful country that she now calls home.
